Has anyone found a way of getting Michigan divorce records for less than $50?

I want to see divorce records, probably from Detroit, time range 1905-1935, for genealogical research. However, the only way I have found of doing this is having them extracted in Lansing for $50 each- not in my budget! Any ideas? Thanks!
Added later- Thanks for the Raogk idea! The only problem is, you have to pay the expenses of those volunteers (for good reason) and they would still require the $50 fee. What I am wondering is, is there another place to get these records?
