Dave asked: My father was married for a short time before he married my mother, and my half sister has never known when he and her mother were married, or divorced. They married in Texas. I'd like to help her find this info. Thanks.

Is there a way to find California divorce records from the late 1800s (Stanislaus County)?

MishMash asked: I am most positive that I have ancestors that divorced around1875 in Stanislaus County, California. They were married to each other in 1866 and by 1875 they were both remarried to other people. I can find transcribed records of the marriages, but not of they're divorce.

Has anyone found a way of getting Michigan divorce records for less than $50?
